This appointment will also include a professional teeth cleaning. This will first involve removing plaque and tartar. Plaque and tartar can build up quickly, especially in the absence of good oral hygiene practices. Soft tartar can harden and irritate gum tissue, leading to gum disease.

Our dental hygienist will also polish your teeth and and floss them for a brighter smile. We may provide additional recommendations during your professional teeth cleaning, if necessary.
