Geana: Restorative Dental Hygienist
Geana has been a Registered Restorative Dental Hygienist for ten years.  Her main focus is to help her patients feel comfortable during their visits and encourage them to improve their dental health.  Prior to becoming a Restorative Dental Hygienist, Geana practiced as a Registered Dental Hygienist and a Registered Dental Assistant for ten years.  She takes pride in developing a strong rapport with her patients and developing treatment plans that meet their individual needs and personal goals.  She continues to educate herself in the latest developments in the dental field, ensuring her patients are given the best choices in achieving optimal health.  Geana’s passion for life is fuelled by the time she spends with her daughter and husband.  She has been known to find some time to display her artistic flair in photography, painting and interior design.

Marcela: Dental Hygienist
Marcela joined the Willow Team in May, 2008 as a temporary Hygienist and has been a permanent addition to the team since October 2008.  Marcela was born in Colombia, South America. Her husband and son were also born in Colombia. Her daughter, her little Princess was born here in Canada. Marcela has been in the dental field since 1991, when she was a dental assistant. Marcela graduated in 2006 as a Dental Hygienist. She enjoys being a part of a great team at Willow and takes every advantage of continuing education courses. Marcela loves all animals and is the proud owner of a cat named Bebe.

Nadine: Dental Assistant
Nadine graduated from Career Canada College in March 1991 and began her dental career with Willow in May 1992. Nadine feels fortunate to have enjoyed all of her time at Willow with great team members. Nadine continues to expand her knowledge through continuing education and seminars.

Nadine has been married to her wonderful husband, T.J for 12 years. They have 2 beautiful daughters, Kayla 9 and Mia 7. Family time is very important to Nadine and much of that time is spent hiking and biking in the summer and skiing and skating in the winter.

Sonia: Restorative Dental Hygienist

Sonia has been practicing Dental Hygiene for over 15 years and has been a valuable member of the Willow Team since 2004. Her passion for dentistry has allowed her to expand her duties to Restorative Hygiene.

She is qualified to work alongside the dentist in providing restorative dental procedure for our patients. Her kindness and compassion for her patients goes a long way. She builds excellent patient rapport to ensure each individual is given optimal oral health care. Sonia loves updating her skills and knowledge with the latest dental technology. Away from the office she enjoys quality time with her husband Aneil and two daughters Maya and Naina as well as the outdoors, reading, watching movies and traveling.

Marcella: Dental Assistant

Marcella graduated from the Toronto School of Business in the Dental Assisting Program in 1991. She has been a dental assistant for 19 years. Marcella has been a part of the Willow Team for 16 years and feels privileged to work with such wonderful people. She continues to keep up with educational courses and seminars to learn, grow and develop new skills.

 

Marcella loves to spend quality time with her husband Sal and her extended family. In her spare time Marcella enjoys reading and outdoor activities such as walking and fishing. Marcella and her husband are expecting their first baby this June and are so excited!

Yolanda: Dental Hygienist
Yolanda has been practising Dental Hygiene for nearly 11 years. She graduated with a diploma in Dental Hygiene from George Brown College in 2000 immediately following her completion of an Honours B.Sc. from the University of Toronto. Yolanda has been with the Willow Team for over 9 years. She is well known for her gentle approach to care and excellent patient rapport. Yolanda continues to update her dental knowledge by attending educational courses and reading new material.
At home, Yolanda enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband of 7 years and her beautiful children Jacob, 4, and Natalie, 9 months of age. Family pastimes include swimming and skating together and outdoor activities with the kids. Yolanda also enjoys taking photographs of her children at every opportunity she gets.

Tetyana: Dental Hygienist
Tetyana’s professional goal has always been in the field of dentistry.  In achieving her career objective, she graduated from George Brown College as a Certified Dental Receptionist in 2007. Subsequently, in 2009, she graduated from the Regency Dental Hygiene Academy in Toronto as a Registered Dental Hygienist and was acknowledged with the Clinical Excellence Award that year.  That same year she joined the Willow Dental team.

In her personal life, Tetyana spends time with her husband, enjoys hiking in the southwest USA and photography.  Professionally, she expresses the love of dentistry through updating her knowledge with continuing education and her devotion to her patients’ oral health as a dedicated member of Willow Dental.

Sheena: Level II Dental Assistant
Sheena has been working as a Dental Assistant for over 4 years. She graduated from George Brown College and started with Willow Dental in December 2010. Sheena stays current with the latest in dentistry through continuing educations classes and reading dental magazines!

What she likes most about Willow Dental is how amazing and great the team members are. In her spare time she enjoys travelling and spending time with family.

Debra: Hygiene Coordinator/ Dental Assistant
Debra has been working as a Level II Dental Assistant for the last 20 years. She graduated in 1991 as a dental assistant and then in 1996 she went back to school to further educate herself as a Level 2 Dental Assistant. This has allowed her to expand on extended duties such as polishing teeth for children and adults, flouride application and impression taking. Debra continues learning new technologies and skills by attending many training courses and seminars throughout the year. She attends regular affiliate meetings and remains in good standing with the ODAA.

Here at Willow Dental Debra works as a Hygiene Coordinator and assists with Dr. Spencer. When not at work Debra spends time with her husband Dave and three daughters. She enjoys camping, time outdoors and playing the piano.

Cate: Hygiene Coordinator/ Dental Assistant

Cate was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario and moved to the Toronto area in 2009. She graduated from Niagara College and has been working as a Level II Dental Assistant ever since. Cate is a long standing member of the Ontario Dental Assistants Association and stays current with continuing education seminars and workshops.

Some of Cate's interests are yoga, guitar, teaching water aerobics and admits to loving reality T.V. She enjoys time spent with her husband Jamie, her best friend Krista and her wonderful family back home.

Kristy: Dental Hygienist
Kristy graduated from George Brown College as a Dental Assistant in 2005. She then returned to George brown to further her studies and graduated in 2007 as Registered Dental Hygienist. She is continually furthering her studies with every opportunity by attending continuing education courses and seminars.

She takes pride in providing the highest level of care in the most comfortable and relaxing environment as possible. In her spare time Kristy enjoys going to the movies, playing volleyball, and spending time with her loving family.
