Common Oral Surgery Procedures

- Frenectomy – Removing the band of tissue between your upper lip and gum in conjunction with orthodontic work
- Sinus lift – Augmenting the bone of the top jaw to place dental implants
- Temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD) – In cases of serious chronic face and jaw pain, if more conservative treatment does not work, aligning the jaw through oral surgery may be necessary
