Using the most advanced dental technology and clinically proven, top-quality materials, the E4D system allows our Ontario cosmetic dentists to complete cracked, chipped or decayed tooth restoration procedures, such as dental crowns, porcelain veneers, and composite fillings in just one appointment. With conventional dentistry, these types of procedures generally require two full appointments to restore the tooth.

How the Same Day Dentistry System Works

The E4D system is made up of a series of steps that can be accomplished very quickly. Your cosmetic dentist will:

• Prepare your affected tooth with traditional protocol, removing all decay.
• Scan the prepared tooth, creating a digital, 3D image.
• Design, while you watch, a final restoration from the scanned images and precise dimensions.
• Send the virtual design via a wireless connection to an in-office milling station.
• Mill your metal-free, compressed porcelain restoration in less than 30 minutes.
• Add the exact right colour to the restoration.
• Polish the permanent restoration.
• Place and secure the restoration in your mouth.

The entire process usually takes a little over two hours for a single tooth.
