Dr. Missy D'Souza

Growing up in Sudbury, Ontario, Dr. Mi Seong D’Souza or Missy, as we like to call her, knew she wanted to be a dentist since she was three years old. Her other love was dance and she attended Sudbury Secondary School for the Performing Arts. She remained in Sudbury for post-secondary studies were she earned her Honors Degree in Biochemistry from Laurentian University. While there, Dr. D’Souza won a prestigious research scholarship to the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto. Her work on white fillings was published and cited in the Journal of the Canadian Dental Association and Journal of Dental Research. Dr. D’Souza then headed east to Halifax and earned her D.D.S. from Dalhousie University. Dr. D’Souza lives in Mississauga with her husband, CityTV News Anchor Francis D’Souza. Together they love traveling the world, trying new recipes and curling up to a good book. Dr. D'Souza is overjoyed to be a first time mom. She had a baby boy in February 2010 and will be returning to work in late spring. She may be a new face to you, but she is no stranger to the Willow Team. Her family has been patients at the practice for more than 25 years!
